Mental Health STIGMA and its EFFECT on Asian communities

Mental health has become one of the most prominent issues worldwide. Asians who suffer from mental health issues often do not receive adequate support due to many reasons, such as cultural and family factors. This results in Asian people feeling alone and emotional without any way to express it. The purpose of this project is to inform people about mental health in Asian communities and how we can fix the stigma around it.

Program Description
This project was created by Param and Henry from the “Live Well, Take Action” program, which aims to engage Asian youth in learning about wellness and how it can have significant impacts on self, others and society. It is a collaboration between ALPHA Education and the Chinese Canadian National Council (CCNCTO). Follow us on Instagram: @livewelltakeaction or Twitter: @lwta_program.
